Right, this will take a bit of explaining I'm assuming but here goes....

Soon, I'm aiming to wire up my LED windscreen washers, 3 sets of red neons (2 front foot wells, 2 rear footwells, 2 in the boot), 1 set of green neons (one in the engine bay and one for the grille) and then later on all green undercar neons. I want to be able to have all of these seperately switchable so i can turn the different compononents on and off when i like.

I want to be able to build in a "bank" of switches, somewhere or anywhere on the inside of the car (preferably next to the driver's chair/seatbelt retainer). Does anyone know
a) how to do this? (I'm assuming i need a solering iron n some solder?)
b) if its possible (pretty sure it is)
c) if there is a company they know of that would do something like that for me? Doesn't even need to be a car company, any electronics company could build it and then i would just wire the live n earth up to it?

I'm assuming I wire up the differing neons etc live connections to the loops underneath and then put switches on the top connecting things?

Or am I completely wrong here?

id use flick switches ( 1s that are used to arm NOS) then u know where u are they are either of or off

this is how i did mine there is only one switch there at the mo but have the others there now. they are simple 2 pole rocker switch. dow the side by the stereo. i found that they were really good there. they dont put neons on they are switches for 4 x 4 and the extra rad fan but you get the idea.

the best place i found 4 my lights in the footwelds was the ash tray ! take it out and make up a face on the sliders plenty of room 4 lots of switches also you can take a power supple from the lighter feed. and the folding front face hides them so they are not on display all the time. small flick switches are the best just make sure you put in a inline fuse !!! good luck:lmao:

was thinking could you not use the orignal switches that control ure rear demister for example and just wire them up to work ure neons like go to a scrappy collect 4 fog light switches or simlar then mount them into plastic and wire it up that way it would be in keeping with the syle of the car ??

going by matt's idea you can use heated seat switches abt £3 from a scrapyad and that'll be another two
In my old cavalier I did put switches where the leccy windows usually are and rewired the leccy windowsto a switch on the doors (like the rears but on the front)

Take the car to a decent auto electrician or hi-fi/alarm company and let them do the job as it sounds like your not to sure. Electrics can be dangerous if you do it wrong.

you could fit switches (like the one shown in the picture) in the plastic under the steering wheel. (the bit of plastic next to the fuse box)
