hello guys
I got a question regarding my car.
It is a vectra b 2.2l dti (y22dtr).
so every time I start the car after sitting for like 1-7 days it blows white and a little bit blue smoke for like 2 sec.
when I start the car in the same day again it doesn`t smoke at all.
even if it is running and pressing the gas pedal there is no smoke not even black smoke.
so I`m a little bit concerned about that little smoke that comes when starting it after sitting.
I heard that bad diesel could cause that mix of white and blue.
Could anybody tell me something about the car.
sorry for the bad english.

Valve stem seals are starting to leak a bit of oil down the stems, which then burns off when you start it.

No power loss, our VW Touran has done that for years.

It's normal to get a little smoke as it starts from cold. If it's running well, and not using an excessive amount of oil, then don't worry about it.

There are various 'smoke stop' products available. I've used WYNNS in the past on a Transit that was a smoky starter...helped a fair bit.

It's only an issue when it gets bad enough to smoke when revving at MOT time.
