Hi,

Thinking of upgrading the brakes on my 3.0 Omega. Looking at Black Diamond combi drilled/grooved discs and Black Diamond pads, front and rear.

Anyone had any experience with this set-up?

I've got black Dimond disks and pads (combi Drilled/groved) on my Sierra XR4x4i (Spare Track Car), and I must say, the brakes did me proud when we took the car to the Nurburgring last September.

I found the wear on the brakes are quite heavy and work better at temperature

Just fitted a pair on the front of my MV6, had EBC grooved on before and after 10,000 miles they were basically cracked to cr4p, the rear ones are fine, BD seems ok, still wearing them in, apart from being squeaky they seem to do the business.

After:-

Even tho i am a mechanical numpty i managed to change the front discs and pads in under an hour, and saved myself a few quid in the process!! :lmao:
