my astra van had a new alternator fitted today, and it runs better, but on tic-over the battery light is off but when its being revved or driven the light flickers. any ideas guys? many thanks ps its the 1.7dti on an x reg

oops yeah sorry it was late last nite and wanted to go to bed, it is a faulty alternator, the exchange unit was not done properly.
