Hello
Seems like the right place to ask as I'm new to these things and don't really know where to start.
Ok. I've got a 2004 Astra coupe 1.6. Yesterday I was driving along and I saw the service light come on and I lost power. I immediately pulled over turned the engine off waited 10 seconds and turned it back on again. The light disappeared and car was running fine.
Today I got in the car wasn't worried too much about yesterday so I drove as normal. Got about 5/6 miles away from home and it happened again. This time the light wouldn't go though and had to drive really slow back home. I took it to my local garage who put it on a diagnostics machine. There was 3 errors. One was throttle body, the other was throttle sensor and I can't remember the third one. He said that the ecu was no good and I needed a new one. Is this the case? And from what I can find online they seem to be pretty pricey. Any ideas or help please?
