Hi Guys,

I have an Astra J MK6, and for some time the blower doesn't seem to switch to the feet, and you hear a general clicking/ticking noise when trying.

I took the glove box off to have a look, and could see the little white spinning disk attached to the switching motor, seemed to be getting stuck on something,

Well, i should have just lived with it, but i took the motor off to try and release whatever is getting stuck, now i'm left with the spinney disk, to plastic gear arms, and the switching motor and i can't for the life of me figure what needs to attach to it at what angle etc,

I've tried checking the workshop manual, but i can't seem to find anything that relates to the switching flap motor, only the actual blower motor itself.

Anyone had anything similar, or any advice?

Thanks,

I had a heater blower module replace under warranty by Vaux a number of years ago on a previous J, although then the fan came on with little air to any of the vents. They had it fir 3 days, was a dash out job.
