Has anyone a wiring schematic for a 1.7 estate or one covering ECU to horn relay regards

Have you tried swapping over the relay ?

Yes still the same Thing is I do not know if the alarm is wires through it so wanted wiring dia so I would be able to bypass parts and see whats causing it regards

Are you referring to the cars horn or the alarm siren and horn?

Both as the horn might be associated with ECU if I can get a copy of wiring will be able to work it out regards

Looking at the wiring I can't see that the two systems are linked,what is on constantly,
the main horn,the alarm horn or the power sounder ?

Horn but if you have wiring schematic could I have a copy It must be somehow connected as you get warning beeps off horn regards

Yes main pair but have to find fault
As I said must be on steering wheel or short to earth but if you have any suggestions regards

Excellent,that was what i was trying to find out a few posts ago,
does the horn stop if you pull the K12 relay ?

yes but have checked relay as I have said and after looking at the drawing you sent only assumption I came to would be on earthing circuit to relay regards

By removing the relay I'm ruling out a short to voltage after the relay,
did you try a test light between 85 & 86 on the relay board ?

But if 85 is going to earth will I not get a reading regards BTW I have tried with relay out and swapping relay with h/lamp relay obviously no horn with relay out my next move was to remove steering wheel to eliminate that

The S24 horn contact completes the earth to the relay,so in theory there shouldn't be an earth at 85 until it's pushed,
tbh it's probably a faulty horn contact so it's up to you which way you tackle it.
