Im a qualified PAT tester, and used to do it, but not in a looooooooong time.
can u remember what you have to record n stuff i havent done it in ages and i have to do some testin at work on friday!:cry:

Just plug it in and let the tester do the work :lmao: ;)

You gotta check it's got the right rating of fuse in it too, rather than just the bog-standard 13A fuse.

Trying to rememberwhat we record now when we test our IT stuff.

Got a bit of paper in front of me now that has some results written on it (just searched for it :lmao: ) - we record whether it's a Class 1 or 2 appliance, the fuse rating, then tick or cross the following depending on whether it passes:-

Visual Check
Insulation test
Earth Bond (Class 1)
Pass or Fail

And that's about it :)

oh i can remeber all that! i could remeber allsorts of stull like location intended use etc i thought i had to log. cool cool its easy peasy then;)
