Put some turbo clocks in my car. Xe with f20.

Took it to the mechanic last night and it was reading about 70 mph. I have no idea how fast I was going but would have been 15 - 20 mph.

Anyone got any ideas on what I need to do to sort this one out???

Cheers.

Does the needle stick at all or is it a smooth motion?

At a guess i would say the clocks on an XE and LET are calibrated differently... you may need to put an XE speedo back in and just replace the needle with the red turbo one ;)

Cheers Cavtastic. Do the needles come off easily?

some do, some dont!
just be careful when you pull them off, sometimes the black plastic around the centre of the needle breaks off.

is it always inaccurate or just sometimes?

I only drove it the once last night so I cant really say. The action was smooth though, no sticking. Bummer, just wasted £50 on lockwoods as well.

Think Ill stick my ecotec ones back on and just change the rev counter.
