Finally got some pics of the nova to show you lot, i couldn;t get many as its in the garage and i'm pretty limited for space as you will be able to see here lol
any way the idea was take the engine from my old nova gte and put it into a newer (almost)rot free shell.

with a few choice modifications along the way

here's a few pics

quick update,

not ahd chance to do much work this weekend but i;ve broken the back on the rest of the parts i needed.

Saturday:

Went to demon tweeks to get all the interior bits and pieces and came home with

mountney steering wheel + momo boss
omp roll cage
2 X cobra classic seats for the back seats

2 more harnesses (3 point)
seat frames
various bits of hose and hose clips, joiners etc etc
polished ally gear knob
carpets
fule filter
braided brake hoses

Then on sunday it was off to whitley bay for two of the most pristine used nova doors i have ever seen and at a bargain price of £60 for the pair. Just as iw as leaving the guy ran out and said he had a nova gsi master cylinder that i could have free of charge so a proper top result!!

This week i will be:

Fitting the rest of the braided hoses,
connecting up all breathers and servo pipe work,
bleeding and re-filling brakes
quick setup of the carbs by me before i go to the RR
Fitting steering wheel
Fitting gear knob,
Fitting one seat to drive it too and from garages!

taking upto the round-about near my house for a handling test and to clear the exhaust and engine of crap then off to the rollers

keep checking for more updates
