The cooling fan no longer runs on my V6 when i stop the car!
I have checked the fan and it works fine, i have also checked the fuses in the fuse box, they are all ok, although I cannot identify the circuit.

Please can anyone enlighten me on the wiring, sensor location, and switching control for these fans?
It used to run for about 10 minutes!
Thanks

The fuse for this fan is a 20A (Yellow) in fuse box under bonnet or at least it is on my Calibra. It should come on with the main radiator cooling fan via a switch on the radiator located near the bottom LHS of radiator (again on my Calibra).

Hi
If this is the case does i presume your alternator fan only stays on when your main fan is on!
Which means it does not stay on for the 5mins or so after a normal run with the ignition off!
This doesn't sound right.

the alternator fan and the main fan come on together ...

'slow'/ normal per the sensor that sits just above the oil cooler pipes under the inlet between the V ... its a small blue connector from memory ...

pull it and short the plug - both fans should come on ...
