There isn't a switch, if that's what you mean.

You could fit a resistor in place of the airbag to fool the system into thinking an airbag is still present, but you'll need to know what the resistance is.

Oh, and there's also the issue of letting your insurance Co. know that you've removed a safety device from the car. I know an airbag isn't part of an MOT test, but some insurance co.s look at things differently.

HI no switch like on the VAG range but you can turn it off using tech 2

may be a silly question but can you disarm the passenger airbag on a vectra (1996 CDX)?
if you can, how?
you cannot disarm just the passenger airbag,you can disconnect the whole system via tech 2 but that also disconnects the seat belt pretensioners,if you want to use a child seat vauxhall say you are ok to use a rear facing child seat so long as the seat is in the rear most position,you must NEVER use a forward facing child seat or any child in the front seat,they must go in the back
