Hi, I have a 63plate Insignia elite and over the last week I have been getting the AFL warning light come on (usually after about 10-15 mins of driving) - and then sometimes it clears itself. Also get AFL malfunction and AFL service messages in the display between the rev and spedo.
1) Both headlights work.
2) Main beam works (both on automatic or manual)
3) Both the cornering (if that is the correct term) lights work.
When the fault light is on the only thing that appears not to function is the beams do not rise up when you first put the lights on. If the fault is on when I get home then it seems to clear by the next morning. Also it first manifested itself on a very hot day after a long drive ?
Anyone had any issues with poor connections causing this. I have not had a chance to try and read any fault codes yet. Not had anyone flashing me either so one assumes the beam angles are ok.
Any help much appreciated. Brain about to explode - grr I hate intermittent faults.
