using an alpine 9855 head unit & 2 jbl amps
is it best to run the amp crossovers on flat (all) and adjust the frequency's using the alpine's active crossover or should i just use the amp crossovers and frequency adjustments. thanks for looking

What are you crossing over between? Sub/mid, mids/tweeters? And what frequencies will the amps x-over at?!

system is just basic really.
not up to speed on all this setting up stuff.
as far as i understand it i want to run the fronts and rears as mids/tweeters (running components front & rear with seperate crossovers)
the 4 channel amp is the px300.4, the filters are set at hp and as for frequency its just a case of best guess. just wondering if i use the crossover network built into the headunit would it remove the need to adjust the amps.

Im a little confused as to how you've set this up, are the front tweeters run direct from the amp or do the tweeters/mids have a crossover box!?

set up as follows;

4channel amp running fronts and rears.
mono amp running subs.
front speakers are 6 1/2" comps with a seperate crossover
rear speakers are 6 1/2" comps with a seperate crossover
