Hi all

Occaisionally the ABS light comes on. This always happens on dual carriageway/motorway at higher speeds, it never comes on at normal road speeds, eg below 65-70, once it comes on it stays on until car stopped and re-started. Is this likely to be a wheel sensor as it only happens at higher speeds, the ABS light behaves normally when the car is started. Luckily I live in a rural area so doesn't bother me too much.

Cheers John

Higher speeds = higher revs. Been mentioned on here before that a faulty alternator can cause ABS and airbag light problems. Higher revs means the alternator is spinning faster.

See if you can replicate the fault by taking the engine revs up past 3k whilst in neutral and parked on your drive / side of the road / garage - ect.
