My ABS seems to activate (not all the time) even when light braking, i'm assuming one of the ABS sensors isn't working correctly ?
The ABS light isn't comming on, so the systems not recognising a fault.
Is there a way to tell which one's causing the problem without exchanging one of them?
anyone know if a good clean of the sensor will sort this, and if so what with ?

could be a faulty ring on 1 of the driveshafts , they sometimes crack or a tooth breaks off & the abs thinks that the wheel is starting to lock when its not .

New CV joint time - you can't fix the ring.

metal set sorted it for now

had a word with my mechanic mate, he said if it was his car he'd first try some metal-set compound over the crack otherwise it's £50 + fitting for the new end on the shaft.
Anyhow, he gave me a piece to try and i smeared it over the crack (about 1mm wide). Since then the ABS is OK
Early days I know, but fingers crossed.
