Hi all

I have an Insignia 160 TDi SRi saloon from new, its been back to the dealers for two sets of front brake shoes, two sets of front tyres, one set of rear tyres and I cant get over 38mpg. It has 7900 on the clock and it is only 8 months old running 18" wheels.

Has anyone else had any problems or have I just ended up with a bad apple?? :shake

Cheers Simon.

Hi Simon

I have had the 160 Sri CDTI for 2 years now, had to change front tyres at 20k, getting around 46 to 52 mpg. It was in twice for intermittent shuddering when on motorway but seemed to clear it's self, Don't think u should have needed 2 sets of front and 1 rear as I still have originals on mine and still have plenty tread.

Hi, read about a few others on here the other day with similar brake issues.

Bad apple i'm afraid. As long as it's not your driving style? If you boot it hard and brake hard it won't be a good performer.
