Turbo recently replaced after that blew up. Engine managment light now comes on when car gets to 70. There is also little to no power below 2000 rmp, then the turbo kicks and we're off.

Any simple things to look for, or has the engine just had it

try turning the actuator arm to make it longer and see if the eml still comes on at 70 mph, only turn it one complete turn and try it,if it still does it ,try turning it another complete turn, keep an eye on how many times you turn it so you can always turn it back again, don't lose the little horse shoe circlip either,i think all the 2.0 dti's are flat before the 2,000 mark on the revs,i fitted a tuning box that got over this,i tried shortening my actuator arm to up the boost and the eml would come on at 70 mph too, thats the only reason i'm saying try to make it longer in hope it cures your problem ,seeing as it was off another car i expect.
