alright, got a 2.08v sri engine recently fitted

seems like its fuelling alrite, gettting a spark from the coil.

car however really struggles to start, and even when it does will not hold an idle, just dies.

took the screw out the top of the fuel pressure regulator, unplugged the air flow meter and eventually it started, actually idled for a few seconds this time, but as soon the air flow meter plugged in it died.

any ideas??

i think it might be an air leak, are there any vacuums hiding round the back of the engine or anything that i might have missed??

the pipe friom air flow meter to tb had a slit in it however we sealed this very very very well, so i dnt think thats causing the problem.

any help appreciated

thanks

maybe, does it make any difference if you disconnect it. does it tick over crap?
