It's a 1994 (M) 1.7TD GLS in Satin Red

She has done a few miles at 160,000 but diesels run forever!! and I've got all the service history up until 2001 and all the old MOT certificates.

Also comes with a nice Sony CD player

Usual GLS refinements..Central locking,electric windows and mirrors.

Interior is very clean with no wear and tear except a small black stain on the back seat

One thing she does need is a new wheel arch as one is quite rusty(shock horror!!)

Also needs a new aerial as the one on the car is a coathanger one lol.

Apart from the wheel arch the body work is quite tidy for it's age just a couple of scratches here and there.

The alternator went the other night so she needs a new one hence the price

It has had 5 previous owners and I dont know when it was last serviced.The last stamp in the service book was 2001 but it could have had a few services since then lol.

Ta Jayne, just out curiosity, does it have the mileage the last service in 2001 was done?

Any history on timing belt and such?

Yes I'm sure the mileage is written down but I will check later as Im not at home.

I have got all the old mot certificates too.The cambelt was changed at 71,000 miles according to the service book but I dont if it's been done since.

Just to point out the car does start and drives but the battery doesnt keep charge.

Also noticed a bit of rust on the drivers side rear door..

The mileage at the last service in the book was 97,864.

The battery has been back on since yesterday morning and it started first turn of the key today

Don't mean to spam here but i have a p reg vectra with izuzi engine i'm 99% sure the alternater is the same as the cav and seems to work fine if you were interested i could take it off?

Well the car didn't sell on Ebay

I dont think there is anythng wrong with the alternator tbh,the battery light isn't on and no other warning lights are on either.

The car has started up everday at the first turn of the key since I put the battery back on! Maybe it was just playing silly buggers when it wouldnt start!

If the battery went flat and theres no lights on then it could just be the battery.....

it realy could do with a multi meter on it to check
