my 1.7TD (ISUZU) vectra glow plug heating time is 7 seconds. How can I increase this time? because this time is not enough to heat the cylinder.

Your car will be a cavalier if in UK, or a vectra a in Europe, and you can fit a switch to over ride the timer, but I would not use it to long as will burn them out, and you can try just cycling the key to turn glow plugs.

No mine was OK, have you checked the glow plugs are working good. If not replace them and give engine a service.

glow plugs are working. just very little glow time
