I've got a 52 hatchback Eco 4 1.7 Tdi. Although Vauxhall seem to have changed all the petrol engine cambelt change intervals down from 80K to 40k, the limit for this one is 100K.

Seems a bit odd, but I have asked 2 dealers and they both said that it was fine.

What do you think?

Not forgetting that a diesel doesn't rev as high as a petrol job. So if it had a cambelt perhaps that accounts for the suggested longer life. Personally, I'd change it at 40k.
