My son's Corsa B X12XE automatic just failed to start this week.:shame: Cranks fine. My mechanic mate checked for any ECU codes, but all clear. He's ordered a crankshaft sensor for the weekend, but if this doesn't work I'm wondering about the ign block ? Being an electronics guy my plan would be to check the 4 trigger signals sent to it from the ECU on pins 3,4,5 & 6 - anyone know what voltage levels these should be at ? Seems easier than removing the module and risking a belt (shock) Plenty of petrol and you can smell unburnt fuel as well.
Thanks
John
