08 Combo 1.3 + Whooshing noise at 2000 + revs

Hi all,

My van has been running sweet for a while, but I took it for a 50 mile round trip the other day, and when returning I noticed a noise from van.

My window was open so it was obvious but now its all I can hear. It runs fine until I hit over 2000 revs (approx) and then I can hear a loud whooshing noise, which is louder than the engine.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Split or loose boost pipe.

It's going to be one on the pressure side of the turbo, somewhere between there and the inlet manifold.

Hi all,

Whooshing sound is still going, I cant find any loose clamps or split hoses. Anyone get any ideas?

It does not have to be visible, they have been known to seperate inside, and block, take it off and check it out properly, if it makes the same sound with it off, then you have found your problem, replace it,
