Haynes manual is a bit vague for the zafira on the rear door. Has anyone done it before that they can advise on screw locations.

ive removed the elec window switch & removed screw.
    removed tweeter & removed screw.
removed 3/4 screws from bottom of panel.
removed screm in bottom of handle/resess.

Haynes says resess comes out & then there is more panel screws but I can not get the resess Handle out. Does the handle come out? Haynes says it does for front but dosent mention it for rear door.

Have the same problem, i got the bottom edge of the handle to pop out but the handle was still tight and I didn't wanna break it. I can't get it to pop back in now though. At least i know for sure there are screws under it, will have to give it another go this week.

    scofield,
push a long flatblade down the front side nearest the door hanlde. push it down along way then it will pop out. i dodnt want to destroy mine thats why it took several attempts before I put enough force in to free it.

was the broken wires inside the door, ive got the same problem and i dnt want to take the door card off unless i have to, i was under the impression the wires would get broken between were it leaves the car chassis and were it enters the door inside the flexy peice, was this the case with you wires

Thanks chiners, got it off like you said. Not sure how to disconnect the cable behind the handle though, theres a blue tab that pushes in and part of it slides out, but its still connected to the handle.

marks, thats right, you don't need to remove the door card for that though. To access the wires it unplugs where it goes in the side of the door by pushing the blue part inwards and the connector inside it will then pull out, then you can pull back the sleeving to make the repair.

I'm trying to fix the check strap on mine so it looks like the card has to come off.

    scofield,
Push the blue tab on the side to release the door cable. The inter has a cylinder on the end on the handles which you just need to slide up to release. the door card is then free to pull from the door.
When pulling the door card free I broke a couple of the white clips. Did you manage to get hem free without breaking them?

I had already pulled the door free from its clips, all that was left seemed to be the cable thing and the top edge, so the card was just pivoting at the top reallly. As it was like this i was able to take the speaker out and reach the check strap through the hole so i don't really need to take it off. though the clips on the right side of the card look like they slot in so i guess when you put it back on you need to slide it from the right slightly.
