Well you've tried the obvious. Next stage is to use the 3 yr warranty (unless done more than 60,000 miles?)

Hi, turn the key in the boot lock clockwise as far as it will go, then press in to open with key in same position. Turn back and leave in vertical position for fob to open.As mentioned above , if it doesn't work , go to Vaux. Chrisshu

its really very simple - crow bar....... over the vauxhall dudes head when he says yes "sir no problem that'll be £4145 for the repair, we only had to replace the engine, the exhaust, all panels, all electrics, battery, alloys and tyres, windows/windscreen, gearbox, new interior, fuel pump and tank but the boot catch and wiper blades were fine! dont go to vauxhall, someone here will answer soon.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a keyhole in the boot lock button on the Zafira-B.

I'm sure that I've read of someone else having the same issue.

Check fuses 8 & 10 under the bonnet and fuse 38 in the boot.

Screen wash isn't working too!! Must be the fuse

WOuld I need to replace fuse 8, 10 and 38 or does this help to narrow it down to one of these?

It depends on which spec Zaf you have. It will be either 7 or 8 in the fuse box under the bonnet.
