I must be a real dunce.

I can't find where to plug in my U480 car reader. Its not between the gear level and handbrake and I can't find the fusebox anywhere!

Thanks for suggestion - this thing doesn't have an ashtray!

I have a feeling it may be in the fusebox under the bonnet....

Well I think that would be logical, there is a cubby hole with a circular hole you can just get your finger into, but it doesn't budge. This dash is built like a brick.

Oh well. I found out that if you turn on the ignition whilst the brake and accelerator are depressed the DTC flashes up in the milometer. Its a ECN 242F75. I think thats some diesel sensor (ECN 242F75---P242F Partikelfilter Druck Sensor nicht im Sollbereich B-030).

Thanks all for your help, by the way(y)

Connector is located under the Handbrake void.
Just give the handbrake boot a little tug and that will come off.
    Then just lift the flap.
    Simples......

There is no handbrake boot - its one of those large lever kind of handbrakes.
Basically there are only 2 places in the cabin that are feasible: the first is below the handbrake - but all there is there is what looks like a handbrake adjustment screw. The second is a meaningless looking cubby hole below the gear lever which seems to have nothing that can move. I really wonder if its is in the engine compartment...

A picture paints a 1000 words - just to the right of the yellow arrow in the 2nd picture.
