[Corsa D] [06---] Wipers Catching & Driver Side Rear Door Seal

    Hi

I have two problems at the moment with my Corsa. One is quite a serious one, especially in bad weather. After a while of operating the wipers, the right hand end of the passenger side small wiper blade will catch with the left hand end of the driver side wiper and bend the driver side wiper and cause it to bounce on the windscreen.

This is causing me quite an issue and worry, especially on the motorway when it does it as I don't want one of the blades to fly off the car. I have taken it to my local dealer for them to have a look at it, but it still seems to be doing it.

The second problem is a small issue, my corsa is the 5 door version and the driver side rear door seal seems to be letting air out. If I have the blowers turned on with all doors and windows closed. If I go and stand next to the rear driver side door and put my hands near the top of the door I can feel the air from the blowers escaping the car, however on all other doors and the boot I do not get this. The door does not let water in as far as I know and I do use automatic car washes quite often and I have not noticed any water on the back seats etc.

The car is a 2008 version on a 57 reg.

Has anyone else had anything similar?

Wipers - Linkage will have been strained with snow or ice / frozen to screen - you may be able to loosen the wipers from the spindle and reposition to avoid them clashing - the proper way would be to replace the linkage but there not cheap - dealers wont do under warranty as overload damage is not covered.
