The wipers on the wifes Meriva clash together when at the rest position, assumed it would be easy to remove the arms and re-align but when I removed the bolt holding them on but they won't budge. Is there a trick to removing them or are they just stiff? Assumed they would be sat on splines so could be moved a small amount to prevent this.

there on a spline and the wipers tend to weld there self to it when on for a while...

the way i tend to get arms off is take the nut off and put the wiper in an up position ( like when you wash the car ) and push down and pull up if you pull a funny face and say 'COME ON!!!!' i think that helps....
    lol

they are very tricky so good luck..

    welcome to vxon btw
