    can anyone please tell me where the map sensor is on a vectra b sri 150 (2.2 petrol) and what it looks like, as i want to see if its easily accessible before i go getting a new one and tackling it myself, a pic of where it is would be greatly appreciated, or a description of where it is. many thanks :)

    map sensors monitor the pressure in the inlet manifold, they work in the same way as maf sensors to help the ecu determine the density of the air in the system...
    Usually they are mounted in the inlet or sometimes on the rocker cover...

    would that be the sensor thats in the inlet hose before the throttle body?

    Z22SE in the Veccy uses a MAP sensor, no MAF but there is an IAT in the inlet trunking.
