    has anybody else had any problems with a vauxhall vivaro 1.9 cdti. At work we have 9 vivaros all new bought 6 monhts ago and all of them have had the same problem after about after 5 months the flywheel sticks to the gear box a requires replacing and all the vauxhall dealer says is it wear and tear but i do not think so after 5 months of use

    never heard of that problem,we have a vivaro and never had that problem,you do get the odd gearbox problem but it is not that common

    Just trying to imagine a flywheel stuck to a gearbox!!!!

    Anyway, whatever such a quirk is whereby a flywheel gets 'stuck' to a gearbox, after five months it ain't wear and tear if you ask me. Furthermore, a garage that says such to a 5 month old car is to be avoided like the plague I suggest.

    yeah ive had a problem with a vivaro. my titming belt went after just over 30,000miles!

    they have done between 18,000 and 34,000 on the higher mileage vans it was all done through the warranty

    why were all the timing belts changed on your vans?is it a standard thing to get done at service? I had a service a few weeks ago but it mustnt have been done.
