Does anyone have any info on this please?
55 reg 1,9CDTI SRI Diesel Vectra.
Light with spanner comes on and turbo stops working and no power!!!
When to vauxhall dealer who gave me this fault code.
    P1109 Swirl Activator.
He then says we will book you in (2 weeks wait)
I then start the engine and the light has gone out but a new one has now lit in the bottom right hand corner of the dash.
This new light in the book says "exhaust gas levels are incorrect.

The (Trainee Vauxhall Guy) says its ok to drive the car with this fault for 2 weeks.

    Any Advice/Ideas?

    Cheers
    Phil

UPDATE : 4/05/07 (changed the air filter) even though i just had a service the air filter was not changed. Vauxhall only say to change this every 4 years !!!.
Opened up the casing it was blocked with loads of leaves and the filter was full of black dust and well blocked.
No immediate change but after a day of driving on "get you home mode" with engine management light on. On the 2nd day the light went off power returned and not had the issue since. (touch wood)
BOTTOM LINE IS : CHANGE YOUR AIR FILTER YOURSELF CAUSE VAUXHALL DEALERS DONT.:shake
