    Hi

I have a 2013, 2.2 Diesel Antara and the MIL light has just come on. The code being reported is P02E4 (Diesel Intake Air Flow Control Stuck Open). After a bit of research it seems that this is to do with the valve within the throttle body. The same articles also stated that the Vauxhall repair is likely to be £880, but the I should try cleaning out the throttle body first.

My problem now is that I am not 100% certain where the throttle body is located. I'm fairly handy when it comes to things mechanical, but I don't want to start blundering around until I am 100% certain that this is something that I capable of doing.

Does anyone out there know where the throttle body is, and how difficult/easy it is to remove?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

Hi I changed one today as it happens,it's on the right hand side of the inlet manifold as you look from the front of the car,it's not a nice job at all as its in the depths of the engine,i took out the under bonnet fuse box and moved expansion tank out the way, then remove intercooler hose, then there is an elbow peice of pipe which attaches to the throttle body, this has a stupid twist lock clip on it which has to be twisted anti clock wise to unlock it off throttle body, this elbow also has a bracket attached to it which is held on with two bolts behind fuel pump.when this pipe is off it just leaves the 4 bolts and the plug for the throttle body it's self.there easyier if it's an auto as the gear cables ain't in the way..!good luck

Thanks for the tips. It's sort of where I thought it was going to be, but the tips about fuse box, expansion tank and pipe are invaluable. It definitely sounds doable. I'll have a good look ate the weekend, and update you with progress.

    Thanks again.

I have the same error code P02E4, how did you manage to solve this one? I did clean my throttle body, but i'm thinking there is something to do with MAP or/and MAF sensors. Thanks
