    Hi guys i am changing the rear coil springs on my car got the broken one out easy enough but finding it difficult gettin the compressed new one in. Whats the easiest way ?? To take the break caliper of to make more room ?? If it is are the bolts hex head or torx ??
    Any help much apreciated again

    how are you finding it hard ?? tighten your spring clamps so they are smaller

    rear springs

    hi i have compressed the spring , but still struggling for room so is it necessary to remove the caliper or do you think i should be able to get them inplace without removing anything

    Yes.You have to remove caliper and part on wich caliper is on!You have two bolts torx from inside.You have to use force unscrew them.Hand brake must be off!

    just take the whole thing off and work it in a vice,its only five bolts to undo

    E18 Torx bolts for the rear calipers.

    job done

    hi guys thanks for all the info job done !! managed to compress the springs then took the bottom bolt of the shock that gave me a bit more room to move . so job done only lowered it 30mm but it sits great
