op-com windows 7 driver / Reply

    hi all,

    i recently purchased a op-com from ebay, it arrived today, when i tried to install it on my windows 7 laptop, the program installs correctly but the laptop will not reqognise the op-com driver, it says i need a valid digitally signed copy and not the hooky chinese copy that came with the software.

    i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere i can download a copy of the correct digitally signed driver??

    Driver went straight on for me, i think the op's pc might have tight uac restrictions.

    even with the pre release version of win 7 there were no issues

    thanks for all you help, managed to get the driver working thanks to phil g's advice, now have a snag activating the op-com, ive found the 8-8 code but when i put it in and press activate nothing happens! is this normal or have i got the wrong code??

    I have a 1.39 090821d. The Windows 7 will not accept the USB driver downloaded from opcom.weebly.com because it is not digitally signed.
    I get it to work as described above (with the     Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b ). However it is very cumbersome because the computer has to be set in test mode, which includes restart of computer. And after use of the OP-com test mode has to be disabled (another restart). Is there signed driver that can be downloaded that will work? Or is there a more easy way to sign the driver permanently without test mode and restarts?

    no signed driver mate, i have to do the same on my windows 7 64 bit, restart, press f8, disable driver signing enforcment, then it works fine
