Hi I'm looking to source a Meriva Spare wheel for my Aunt.
    It's for a 1.7 CDTi 08/85 so its a 5 stud part number 2150150
Can anyone tell me if this is the only suitable part for this car please? or are there others compatible?
Whilst it is for the intended spare I think she would rather have a fully usable tyre that could be left if necessary. rather than a space saver.

She would also like the same tyre fitted , a michelin e3a 185/60/R15 as thats whats fitted all around, were these the standard fit tyre?

I "should" have picked up a jack kit from the bay of 'E' (not arrived yet) but are there any other parts required to fit the spare under the boot floor cover?
    fixing bolt? Nut? insert? surround?

Could anyone please supply part numbers if available?

    Many thanks, Nick

Grrr I hate these foam spray set-ups

Any alloy wheel dealer can provide you with a suitable spare wheel and tyre but unless they have a spare knocking about the main Vauxhall dealer will be the only place you can get a Vauxhall original alloy. As for the tyre, If its a 05 model they will have probably been changed by now but it looks to have a quality set on so I wouldn't worry about it.

In regards to fixing it to the boot floor there usually is a polystyrene holder that sits at the edge of the spare wheel that contains your jack, wheel brace and reversible screwdriver + a plastic wheel nut that clamps the spare wheel down.

Sorry I don't have part numbers but I would try ringing round your local Vauxhall breakers.

You'll be able to find a steel wheel of a matching size far more cheaply & easily than an alloy one. Spray it silver & get any punctures repaired asap to get the alloy back on. :)

BTW, Alloys usually only come in sets of 4 anyway, using a steel wheel or emergency one as a spare as a matter of course.

Here's a pic of the spare wheel paraphernalia for the Meriva, use the key below to match part numbers to the items in the diagram.

    1: 13305301 (10cm long)
    2: 90126755 (for steel wheel)
    3: 90188294 (for 6J x 16 alloy wheel)
    4: 13132390 (for 7J x 17 alloy wheel)
    5: 931258 (spare wheel spacer)

    Thanks for the responses Guys(y)

Been a manic week so far, i thought I had said . it's a steel wheel I wanted,
is an o8 model, 'life' is it? I had found the 4 stud version brand new on ebay for a pittance, but no 5 studs :(
I forget the model for certain as she was going to buy a different one and changed her mind and plumped for the diseasel after I mentioned it while she was looking at 1.6's.

I just wondered if Vx had a few 15" Steel rims , that were basically identical but changed the part numbers....
    I know I need ET43...

Thanks for that exploded Geezer, thats just what I needed Cheers.

I had the same issue with my 08 design, mine was a structure wheel which are slighlty different to the others so you might want to check if the wheel trim is held on by the bolts if so it is a structure wheel.
I mangaged to get a second hand one from ebay and the tyre is a michelin energy saver.
I had to take the foam piece out from under the boot floor which leaves a large gap between the wheel and the boot floor, theese are supposed to have storage bins in which are really expnesive, so i didnt bother

...or if you have what looks like an alloy wheel, tap it with your knuckles and if it turns out to be a plastic wheel trim, that's the "structural" wheel lurking behind it.

No No Definitely a steely ;)

My Jack set still hasn't turned up :(

Been busy this week so havent gotten further than an occasional ebay search but thanks for the pointers...

I'd hoped the wheel part number 2150150 would have popped up on the net tbh, but the only reference seems to be a past ebay advert...
I guess Breakers dont bother to list the part number anyway... to them the size is enough :)

I'd have thought that sourcing a used alloy, of the correct dimensions, or even a new alloy (any pattern) would be easier and cheaper than sourcing a steel although the dealer should be able to order one in.

Well it seems that I've bought the wrong Jack :(
and with a little help from Darmon deduced that ......."It's part number 9191486 shows as being a jack only for the old shape Zafira and old shape Astra (the "G" model)."

Can anyone confirm whether this is a definatley Not the right Jack for a meriva 08/85??

I'm not au fait with GM sills did they change between the current and this old model of Zafira?

I'm assuming I'm right that new Zafira and Meriva are both Corsa based ?

I will obviously take it over and give it a go but its another journey I could do without if it's a wild goose chase:shame::shame:
