Auto adjustment is not working on the HID dip beam lighting.

Could be a sticking adjustment motor or a problem with one of the level sensors.

Had the same problem with my Elite.
Found that the small link connecting the sensor to the Front Suspension had seized and pulled the arm of the sensor.
Freed of joints on Link, Repaired Sensor.
You may find the same thing as happen with the rear Sensor or it may even be the ECU which Automaticly adjusts the Dipped Beam Motors.

I have finally solved this problem!
After weeks of trying almost everything at great expense! I gave up and took my car to a main dealership - they eventually discovered that the problem was caused by my battery! Apparently it was not operating at quite the right voltage & this was causing the motors on the lights to stick.
New battery fitted - fault gone!

Old post I know, but may be relevant for someone.

Just had the same Low Beam Fld/Vision fault come up and headlights were pointing at the floor.

The car (2001 Vectra CDX) had been in the shop for a cylinder head rebuild (timing belt fail...) and the battery had gone flat, so needed a jump start. Thought it might be related, but concerned it was an engine management issue, but when the battery was charged, the fault went away and headlight aim now fine.
