depends on what exactly your trying to do
are u just trying to program remote
or are you programming a new transponder chip to the immobiliser
by the way the answer to both is yes opcom can program the remote or the chip
but if programming the immo chip in the key you must use a new chip you cant reprogram an old key from ebay to your car
you can program the remote Central locking an old key to your car
    hope this helps

The opcom asks for a 4 digit security code (get from your CAR PASS) to access your immobiliser if you want to programme a new transponder to the immobiliser.
The security code is not requested to programme the fob to operate the remote central locking.
I haven't personally programmed a transponder to the immobiliser, but replaced the fob part of my key with one bought off fleabay as my original was broken, and this worked great.
