I'm shortly to embark on changing an offside dipped beam bulb on my Vectra-C (once they arrive from ebay)

Over on Vectra-c.com the suggestion is to remove the headlight assembly - which means first dropping the front bumper! Yes, really. But others have said that you can *just* about change a bulb (indicator, or headlight) by removing the airfilter box. Prepare yourself for scratches on the back of the hands though.

Now you can see why the dealer wants £42 to do the job.

To change the bulbs on any modern car can be a right PITA.

Having changed the headlight bulb yesterday on my facelift Vectra-C, (via partially removing the air filter box) there is no way that you'll be able to change an indicator bulb via this method as the bulb holder in the headlight assembly sits too close to the wing to gain any access to it. Even if you could reach it, there is not enough clearance to pull it out.

It's a headlight removal job as per Solo's instructions.

you can on a prefacelift remove the headlight by partialy removing the front bumper as you only need access to one screw at the bottom,if you remove the 3 screws on the side you need to get to and the 2 rivets on the top the bumper gives you access
