Had a bump just under 2 years ago, which due a poo solicitor looked like it was going to go 50/50. Even though I didn't carry the claim on. I lost 3 years ncb due to the posibility of the 3rd party claiming.

Last year renewal was £1000 with 1 year ncb, but with breakdown and paying installments it went to £1360

Get a renewal through a week or so ago at £700, but it only had a year ncb. I emailed and explained it should be 2 years, got an adjusted quote at £634. Got a letter from the claims department saying my insurers had paid out for the 50/50 claim and that meant I had lost the 3 year ncb. I phone up and ask when the 3rd party was paid out, woman at Flux phoned insurers and came back with a different story, the insurers hadn't paid out, had closed the file (so the 3rd party couldn't claim) and I would get the 3 years ncb back plus a refund of what I overpaid this year :mmmm :eh :D

Got another adjusted quote at £445 (without breakdown ect), not bad for 22 year old, 5 years ncb, the car (is a funker due to being over 2.0l) and all mods declared.

I phoned today to ask about the refund. Ends up at.........

£375 refund, so with breakdown ect all I'll be paying this year is £129 :bananasmi
