P0500 is no vehicle speed not engine speed, cam and craml sensors aren't gonna fix that. You need to look at sensor in gearbox or wheel speed sensor if you have ABS

I remember this code coming up for some reason on SB corsa years back, engine would cut out when slowing to a stop, but that was when driving. No, it shouldn't affect the ability of the engine to idle. And I wouldn't have thought the code would have logged if the car hasn't been driven, or have you driven it ? seen in your other post saying you went back to garage today. Do you know what engine you have, is the car manual or auto ? The P0500 could be an issue but possibly not the cause of the car not idling.

no i havnt drove the car for 6 days, its a 20 16v sri 140,when you start it it ticks over but when you rev it it just dies its running really lumpy,it sounds like a fuel problem, the fault code is po500,new crank and cam sensors havnt done the job getting relly peed off now with the garage

Go back to basics first...Check fuel filter, fuel pressure and fuel qulaity. Check the air filter and the intake ducting. Check for vacum leaks. gut feeling would be something non ECU related, just because it's running so rough but the ECU hasn't logged any other code than P0500, which really shouldn't affect engine performance until your moving. Really need a tech 2 snapshot to give you more info. Is you garage using a tech 2. as them for a snapshot and e-mail it to me.
