I have a Vectra 2004 Auto (tritronic) and an engine management light has come onto the dashboard and I dont know what it means. The driver hasnt changed in anyway and I have heard of expensive charges when taking it to a vauxhalll dealer. I was wonder if anyone could help. The symbol is a circle with an exclamation mark in the centre. on the outside of the circle there are lines outward facing at 1.3.5.6.7.9 and 11 o'clock. It looks like a light buld but none of the lights are out or falty.

    Please can someone help?

    Thanks

it will probably be one of the brake light bulbs, the canbus system on these cars automatically swaps the lights round when a bulb fails

You have one of your lights out or one of them is about to fail. Check your rear lights and make sure that when the sidelights are on that there are two bulbs lit up on each side. Then check your brake lights and make sure that it is the same bulb on each side that is lighting up. If one of your brake lights fails another bulb in the cluster will light up to take its place.

Welcome to VxON matty. I was just a bit slow at typing there LOL.
