    My Drivers Side Cv Joint Needs Replaced,

    To Save Time And Efford I Was Going to Buy The Full Shaft With The Cv Joint Allready On The Shaft (Its the Longest Shaft)

    What i Want To know Is..

    How Difficult Is it?

    What Tools Would i Need?

    Hi you will need to drop the lower ball joint off and remove the outer driveshaft nut - the inner is a snap ring which should pop out if levered right
    quite easy but you will lose gearbox oil

    thanks Mate, But Would Just Changeing Shafts be Alot Easyer Than Changeing the Cv Joint Itself On the Existing Shaft

    Thought is said that -either way the ball joint will have to come off along with the cv joint nut - so if the price is right replace the whole shaft

    that depends on where you get the shaft or joint from,some of the cheaper joints are crap
