[Astra Mk4/G] [98-04] Coolant drain tap??? / Reply

    Hi all,

    Probably a simple answer awaits but I have to ask! Does anyone know where the coolant drain tap is on an Astra 1.6 SXI 2001, I've looked hi and low, i've read its on the drivers side and have seen a pic in my haines book but simply cannot find it!

    Any suggestions much appreciated! I just want to flush the whole system by running water through it with a hose but obviously cant do it without finding this damn tap!

    Think you're right, just got a mechanic to have a look and he reckons you just have to detach the lowest hose and flush it that way, cheers for the reply anyway
