I have a Zafira 52 Plate 2.0 DTi - the front low beam bulb needs replacing.. How easy is it to change the bulb

how do I access the bulb to replace, is this done from the outside or do I need to access it from the inside via engine bay.

I have been trying to get hold of the Zafira A Owner Manual in PDF format, but the link on Vaxhall website I was given isnt working, any kind sole can send me a copy much appreciated.

the manual tell you to take the bumper off and remove the headlight to replace the bulb, but it can be done without removing anything major providing you have small enough hands, i replace my drivers one the other week, i loosened the top on the air box, then i removed the indicator plug and indicator socket and bulb and got them out of the way, its a tight squeeze but with the air box lid removed theres a bit of give in the box, then i remove the low beam plug and unclipped the socket and backed it out towards were the inicators socket was, there is just enough room to invert the socket and remove the bulb, replacement was done in reverse of the above, took me about 10 minutes of fiddling, BTW halfords wont fit them either, ive not done a passenger side one but from what i remember that looked easy

Thanks for your reply, it is the passenger side that needs replacing. Do I need to access the head light unit from inside the engine bay or is this all done from outside.

All the bits you've been told to remove by marks152 are inside the engine bay not outside..........

it will be done from inside the engine bay, ive not done a passenger side but i remember thinking when i done the drivers side how much easier it would have been if it had been the passenger side so it must have been the easiest one

My driver side main light bulb has just gone so I need to change it. Is there a specific size bulb? The larger of the two bulbs is not working. I want to replace both if possible with brighter ones, any recommendations?

    Thanks
