My Astra has started making a squeaking noise when turning right. Its intermittent but really annoying when it does it. If i go to full lock right then it goes away but any other time, the slightest right turn will cause it to squeal. The brake pads were changed just under 4 months ago and it definately is coming from the wheel by the sounds of it. Anyone any ideas what could be causing this?

My corsa has the exact same issue. Seems like the noise is coming from the left wheel when turning right. Doesnt happen when turning left.

Hope someone can shed some light on it!

i would start by checking the backplate behind the disc , this could be catching the disc & cause the noise.
