    Hey guys want to do an oil change on my astra but after a bit of a look around i cant seem to see the oil filter? anyone know where it is on the 1.4 petrol? Ta

    Hi, if im not mistaken the astra H 1.4 has the cassette type oil filter not the traditional metal bodied screw on oil filter
    have a look for a black plastic domed screw on thing somewhere on the front battery side corner of the engine about half way up, im reasonably sure (going on memory so dont quote me on this!!!) thats the oil filter cassette cover

    Make sure you seat the filter seals back properly.
