    Hi all.
I have an Astra 1.9 cdti sri with engine management light coming on. Diagnostic was carried out on the car with fault codes p1110 and p1109. I believe this to be a problem with intake manifold air circuit actuator.
I then had a look in the engine bay where i spotted that the link arm between the four swirl control had disconnected. I reconnected the arm but the problem persisted making me believe that it's a problem with the actuator itself.
Vauxhall seem to suggest that I need to replace the inlet manifold as there is a modification, plus the actuator to eradicate the problem. Meaning big cost i bet.
Any advice? would it be possible for me replace this part myself ? any special tools required? Or would it be possible to just replace the intake manifold air control actuator plus the link arm? Help would be much appreciated.
