    Hi, i have an 8v 120 CDTI.

I have been having a problem with the car when running at a constant speed, for example when I'm in second gear maintaining 20mph at 2000rpm the car sort of jerks and if i go to accelerate the car firstly decelerates like its lost power then starts to accelerate. The best way i can describe it it the turbo starts to cut out and when i accelerate from it the turbo cuts out completely and then kicks in again.

When i'm just accelerating through the gears the turbo works fine and 0-60 is fine.

I'm not sure if this is a real problem but its really bugging me, any ideas?

Sounds like egr or maf sensor fault. Both can be faulty without bringing eml on. Decent diagnostic garage will sort it.

Thanks for the reply, are they expensive to fix?
