    Ok, came to change it stiff as hell. Scared any more force will snap/strip threads. Used WD-40 and still didn't budge. Any Ideas? Or will it take more force and I am just being too light handed?

    The blanking off of the egr only works on 8 valve models and it also needs reprogramming. You can get egr valves fairly cheaply from here http://www.vauxcentre.co.uk/index.php?option=categories&category_id=79588 and they are a simple fit.

    You really need to read the codes if any first either at vauxhall an autoelectrician or buy a code reader yourself. beware if you grab an opcom you will need a pc toplug it into i.e a lappy doubt you can get a desktop that close lol, if thats not possible get an all in one hand job
